Training within the PHAST squad is tailored to each athlete’s individual needs, goals, and weekly availability, ensuring the right balance alongside work/school, other sporting commitments, cross‑training and recovery. The range of weekly sessions allows athletes to get the most from their training without overload and varies depending on each athlete’s age, experience and commitment level.
In general Junior athletes: 2–3 sessions per week and Senior (over 18) or experienced athletes: 3–4 sessions per week.
Sessions may include a combination of hurdling, sprint work, speed/speed endurance training, plyometrics, biomechanical assessment, strength and movement efficiency training, as well as competition preparation and support.
It is preferred that athletes are members of either Doncaster Athletics Club or Doncaster Little Athletics, but not essential. Non-members may need to pay an $80 training fee to the Club (covers insurance, gate access and venue costs).

SQUAD COACHING FEES
$400 per training period, payable in advance. Fees are charged three times per year, aligned to the following training periods:
• Jan - May (Major Competition Period): $400 (16 weeks @ $25 per week)
• May - Sept (Preparation Period): $400 (16 weeks @ $25 per week)
• Sept - Dec (Juniors: School Competition/Seniors: Pre-Competition Period): $400 (16 weeks @ $25 per week)
